Tanya Kaneva
Hello, my name is Tanya. I live and work in Plovdiv, and in the last three years, my professional occupation is tattoo and piercing.
From 1994 till 1999 I have studied in Art High School in Plovdiv. After that, from 2000 till 2005, I have continued my education in National Art Academy in Sofia.
In the beginning, when I started working with tattoo, I took it as a challenge to make a picture on the skin. I found out that with the needle, interesting and unique forms can be achieved, sometimes even more captivating than by simply using the brush. Now I see every single tattoo as a piece of art — each being one of a kind and expressing the nature and character of its holder. My love and devotion for drawing are so tense that my interest will never cease.
